International Relations and Language

Vienna has a tradition as an international hub: The historic Vienna was centre of the Habsburg Empire. Today, the city hosts international organisations such as the OSCE and OPEC headquarters, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights and several sub-organisations of the UN.

Duration: 1 week (Monday to Saturday)

• Language education according to the principles of Adventure Education:
  • 20 lessons in groups of up to 15 participants, topic: international relations
  • The participants simulate an international conference: they prepare and realise it and enter negotiations
• 3 evening programs
• Arranging accommodation and food
• Daily leisure programs (various excursions in Vienna, e.g. UN headquarters, Hofburg castle, etc.)
• Foreign language use during class and leisure
